About the Teacher:
I graduated from West
Chester University in 2001 with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I
am currently working towards my masters in Curriculum and Instruction. This
will be my 9th year of teaching 2nd grade at St. Joseph. Previous to this
experience I taught a year of 3rd grade at Reeceville Elementary, in
Coatesville Pa. I am happy to be at St. Joseph, the school I attended as a
child. I live in Atglen with my husband Denis, and our two Great Danes, Greta
and Mabel.

Hobbies: After a trip to Maine, I became interested in
hiking! What a beautiful way to enjoy nature! I love to travel. This past
summer Mrs. Myland and I went on our first cruise. It was so much fun! I also
love to read and just hang out with my Great Danes Greta and Mabel :)

My Mission for the
Class:
I am dedicated to making
students feel proud, and have a positive attitude towards themselves, their
classmates, and most importantly their learning. I have come to realize the
importance of making the classroom a safe, and comfortable place for the
students. I believe that all children have talents and abilities unique only
to them. It is my responsibility to use these talents and abilities to foster
the learning of all students.
