What should be packed for snack?

Each day your child should have a healthy snack (fruit, granola
bar, etc.) and a napkin. They have the opportunity to get drinks
from the water fountain during snack time.

If you would like to order pretzels for your child the orders are
taken every Friday for the following week. The pretzels are
delivered fresh each morning and they cost $2.25 for the week. Pretzels
must be ordered for a whole week. Partial orders are not accepted.

Please send in your child's pretzel order on Friday in a labeled
envelope.

What does WB-3x mean in the homework copybook?

This stands for Word Bucket - 3 times.

What your child is supposed to do is read each word in their Word
Bucket 3 times each night. They can write the words, play games
with the words, or just read them: however you'd like to study
with them.

What if my child asks to bring a toy to school?

Please remind your children to keep their toys at home. The only
day they are allowed to bring something in to share with the
class is on their Star Student Monday. If they bring a toy in on
another day I will hold the toy at my desk. They have been
reminded many times that toys do not belong in the classroom. I
don't want anyone's things to be lost or broken, so it's best for
the toys to stay at home! Thanks for your understanding.
