Donuts with Dad/Distinguished Guest

To celebrate the Letter D we asked our dads or other distinguished guest to come to class with us on Friday.

We enjoyed donuts and a drink with our dads/distinguished guest.

We played a game with our dads/distinguished guest.

Thank you dads for coming to our classroom!

Happy 100th Day of School-February 17, 2012

On our 100th day of school, we had a lot of fun showing how smart we have become after 100 days of Kindergarten.

We counted to 100 using Fruit Loops. And then put our Fruit Loops on a string to wear around all day and nibble on them when we got hungry! What a tasty way to learn about 100!

Another activity we did was to find the 100 Hershey Kisses that were hidden around our center room.

"Look, I found a Hershey Kiss" said Jenna. We are closer to finding all 100.

We had to look under the kiss to find out what number our kiss was and put it in the correct place on our 100 chart.

Our Zu Zu pets were a perfect place to hid a couple of the kisses. But Ivano and Colin were not fooled. They found them!

Balloon-a-palooza

The Kindergarten are waiting their turn at the Balloon-a-palooza.

We are trying to pop our friend's balloons.

The Kindergarten winner of the balloon-a-palooza is Colin Ford.

Rita's Water Ice Field Trip

It is a hard decision on what flavor of Water Ice.

YUMMY!

"What color is my tongue!"

The boys stop to have their pictures taken.

The girls are posing for their picture.

Cocco's Field Trip

One of our best field trip was to Cocco's Pizza. Mr. Bruce showed us how to make a pizza and we made our own.

But the best part of the trip was eating the pizza we made!

Muffins with Mom

Besides making muffins for our Moms, we also planted flowers for them.
