This is my sixteenth year at St. Joseph Elementary School. I started in
1996 teaching second grade. I continued to teach second grade for 8 years.
I was then asked to transfer to fifth grade when the position opened. I was
apprehensive about the move, but enjoyed the opportunity. This is my seventh
year teaching the fourth grade which is also very enjoyable.
I have been happily married to Mike Panfile and have three wonderful
daughters. I am also lucky to be the grandmother of three talented children.
I recently adopted a terrier from the SPCA. She keeps me company when Mike
has
to go out of town. Mike and I love to travel. We have been to Italy several
times and continue to love the experience.
I received my degree from Immaculata University. I continue
to take additional classes to keep abreast of the new material and teaching
methods. I am also keeping up with the newest technology.
My mission for the class is to help all students to use their God given
gifts to the best of their abilities.
