What happens after you have completed Algebra I in Grade 8?

•After a full course of Algebra I is completed, the students will
take the standardized Algebra I end-of-course test approved by
the Office of Catholic Education. If they receive a passing
grade, then they will advance to the next course as required by
the high school they will be attending. This only applies to
those students attending an Archdiocese of PA high school.
For those attending high schools in Delaware, each has its own
qualifying test. Students will have to contact the high school
to find out the date of the test.

When can I use my homework pass?

Homework passes can be used on:
-one night's assignment, which includes one maintenance column.
If a POW(Problem of the Week) or STP(Standardized Test Practice) is due that day, then you must bring it in the
following day.
-Problem of the Week (only one per trimester)
-dropping the lowest grade of one POW or one STP at the end of a
trimester

Passes cannot be used on STP worksheets or dropping a test grade.
Please use your passes wisely. Do not use it on a night
that you need to do the extra practice.
