THANK YOUThank you to all of my second graders and their parents for a wonderful school year. It is hard to believe that the school year will end in a few days. We have learned so much and have had tons of fun. I am so proud of all my students for all of their hard work - you have done an awesome job! I also thank the parents for all of your cooperation and support - we wouldn't have accomplished all we did without you. May all of you have a wonderful summer full of fun - relax and enjoy - You deserve it!!
MASS
There will be an All School Mass on Friday, June 1, 2012 @ 9:00am to end the school year. We hope that you will be able to join us.
EARLY DISMISSALS
There will be 11:30am dismissals on Thursday, May 31st and Friday, June 1st.
FLAT MES RETURN HOME
All Flat Me posters will be coming home on Tuesday, May, 29th.
COFFEE CAN ICE CREAM
We will be enjoying our coffee can ice cream this week either on Tuesday, May 29th. I'm sure we will have just as much fun eating it as we did making it!
SPELLING BEE
We will be having a class Spelling Bee on Wednesday, May 30th. Words from all 30 spelling tests will be used for the Spelling Bee. There will be first, second, & third place winners. Good Luck to everyone!
CLEANING DAY
Our end of the year cleaning day will be Thursday, May 31st. The children need to bring a
SMALL sponge, rag and plastic bag (to carry the wet sponge and rag home in). Students also need to bring their book bags to carry home all of their supplies.
REMINDER
Just a reminder that when your child returns to school after an absence you must send a written excuse to school. Even if you have called the office to let us know that your child will not be in school I need the written excuse for my records so that I can mark the absence as an
excused absence. Otherwise the absence is recorded as an
unexcused absence. Thank you!
