Dear Parent
Happy New Year! I can't believe that our break is over,it definitly
went fast!I hope that you all had an enjoyable and relaxing holiday break.
Now that the new year is starting, there is alot going on this month. On
January 12th and 13th the woman from the Blind Rehabilation Institute will be
coming to screen the children's eyes.We have been using their services for
many years now and it has been quite benefical in detecting early problems in
pre-school age children's eyes.It is a simple"game" playing no tears
test, that takes just a few seconds and the children receive a large sticker
for their effort.I will be sending home information and permission forms once
we return to school.
Also, I will be having parent conferences on the 26th and 27th of this
month. These conferences are mandatory and it will allow me to discuss with
you any concerns that might be occuring with your child. Scheduling
information will be sent home in plenty of time so that all needs can be
successfully met.
Snow delay information! Now that the winter weather could be
arriving, Mrs.Militzer and I have come up with pre-school times if there is a
delay. So that we can get in our class time,pre-school will go from 10:30-
12:00 in cases of school delays.Information on what's happening on "snowy"
days can be found on all local television stations by looking for the
St.Margaret School's name.Mrs.Militzer does her best to get "snow"
information on the air early so that any changes in arrangements can be
made.
All is going well in room 6.I am so greatful to be able to share this
time with your children,so any concerns please let me know.
Mrs. Hook
