Monday
H Copybook – Print the heading Spelling Words on your top
line. Then underline the heading with your red
pencil. Fold your page in half and write this
week’s short u spelling words 2x’s each.
Our test will be next Monday.
Religion – Review chapter 4 for our test this Wednesday.
Reading – Make flashcards for this week’s high frequency words
and review all vocabulary flashcards.
Tuesday
On the paper in your green folder, write about your favorite book.
Give me the title and author. Tell me how you got the book and
why it is your favorite. Bring the paper and your book in
tomorrow. Be sure to write in complete sentences.
Math workbook – page 23. Our test on subtraction will be next
Tuesday.

Thursday

Reading – Practice reading the list of final consonant blend
words.
Religion – We are learning about the sacrament of Baptism.
Bring in an item to share with the class from your
Baptism tomorrow. It can be your candle, white garment, a picture
or your baptismal outfit.
Friday
Reader – Re-read the story Animal Park. We will not have a story
quiz on this story, however. We will have our level 1.1
reading test on Monday. It will test high frequency words,
the short vowels and skills covered so far. It will also
test the grammar skills we have covered.
