underline it with red pencil. Write a telling
sentence for the first 5 spelling words on The
Big Circle paper. Our test will be this Friday.
Reading – make flashcards for new high frequency words and
review all flashcards (especially kindergarten
readiness words).

Math workbook – page 37
H Copybook – print Asking Sentences on your top line and
underline it with red pencil. Write an asking
sentence for the last 5 long o spelling words.
Reading – read the list of long o words in the back of your H

LIBRARY BOOKS ARE DUE BACK TOMORROW

Religion – begin to review chapters 9 and 10 for our
test next Wednesday
Reading – read the list of contractions using n’t, ‘m and ‘ll
Thursday
Math workbook – page 39
Reading – play the game “Beat the Clock”. Read the story
attached to your homework sheet orally. Have
a parent time you for exactly 1 minute and circle
the last word you read in red pencil. Then have
them sign the paper and return it tomorrow. Try
to beat the clock by finishing the reading in one
minute! This will give you how many words you
read per minute! We are working on fluency and
immediate recognition of words! Good luck!

Reader – re-read the story The Big Circle for our story quiz on
Monday
