Happy February!

I hope everyone has been enjoying this nice weather! We started off our month
with Catholic Schools Week. We had a great time this week celebrating the
students, the teachers, Mrs. Burke, the volunteers, and everyone else
involved in Catholic education! During our last day of Catholic Schools Week
we will be celebrating mass together at 8:30. We will be honoring Justin
Hassey as our Follower of Jesus for practicing the virtue of faith.
Congratulations Justin!

The fourth grade students also got a chance to perform their
play "Shhh...We're Writing the Constitution" during Catholic Schools Week. We
were so happy that the parents could come and watch the students show off all
their hard work and preparation. They did a wonderful job!

Terra Nova Testing begins on the last day of February, the 29th and runs
through March 9th. Please make sure your child is getting a good night's rest
and breakfast during the testing, so that they can perform their best.

As always let me know if you have any questions or concerns!

Below are a few reminders:

 1. As your child's primary teacher of faith, it is extremely important that
you take your child to Mass each week.

 2. The school day starts at 8:15 and ends at 2:55

 3. All money and notes need to be sent into school school in a sealed
envelope with your child's name, grade and/or amount of money.

  4. Homework books need to be signed on a nightly basis.

  5. It is very important that your child have their supplies in school each
day. They should check their supplies each week and replace what is
needed. Please see the supply section for more information.

6.Test packets are collected on Fridays. They must be signed!

  7. All students need to bring a lunch bag and schoolbag every day to class.
Please make sure your child's name is clearly written on their materials

  8. Birthdays are celebrated at lunch. There are 22 students in our class.
Remember to bring in napkins and to be mindful of food allergies.
