Homework

Remember to keep on top of your Homework Assignments!!!

*THE FIRST TRIMESTER ENDS ON WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 26TH!*

You all started with a homework grade of 100.
Many of you still have a grade of 100, but some of you have slipped down a
few points!
Make sure you complete your homework assignments for the day that they are
due!
Points are taken off of your homework grade for each missed homework
assignment (full/partial) and late test folders!

Homework is given on a regular basis. It may be written, study, or both!
Homework will be copied each day by the students. Please ask your child
to see his/her homework assignments (and long-term assignments/projects)!

All homework should be completed on the night that it is given. Not
completing homework assignments will result in a 5 point deduction from
their homework grade. HOMEWORK IS IMPORTANT! ***Please understand that
homework is not a punishment for either you, your child, or myself. It is a
reinforcement of the work covered during the course of the academic day.***

If your child is absent, it would be a good idea for a sibling or a
responsible homework buddy to pick up any missed classwork/homework
assignments that he/she may have missed during his/her absence. If your
child is absent, all work (classwork/homework) should be made up within two
days. (If it can be completed before then, that would be great, but not
mandatory.) For an extended sickness/absence, your child should speak to me
upon his/her return, and we will work something out! Please give me at
least 3 days notice to get your child's work together for him/her before you
leave for a vacation/trip if you would like that work before you leave. *If
you could let me know the week before, that would be even better!

ALL HOMEWORK SHOULD BE NEAT AND COMPLETE!
PLEASE REMEMBER: MATH PROBLEMS SHOULD BE COMPLETED IN PENCIL!!! (NO PEN!)
ERASE ALL MISTAKES CLEARLY!
