The children received their second Simple Solutions book yesterday.  Please write their name on the label and cover with clear contact paper. 

Student Council will be selling Valentine Candy Grams on Monday.  The cost is $0.50 each or 3 for $1.00.  Candy Grams will be delivered on Valentine's Day.

A Math Project and a Reconciliation Project were sent home earlier this week.  The Math Project is due on March 4th and the Reconciliation Project is due on February 24th.  I have heard that some of you are having a hard time finding the 1.79 oz. bag of M&M's.  As long as it is close to that size, it will be fine.  For the Reconciliation Project please make sure the children number each answer and write the answer in a complete sentence.  Please email me if you should have any questions. 

The children had their first Spanish class this week.  Senora Frederick requested that each of the children bring in a folder for Spanish materials only.  Thank you.

   We are going to keep Valentines Day low key next week.  I will make cupcakes and the children may hand out Valentine cards if they would like.  Please have them write the names of their classmates on the front of the card (so they don't get mixed up).  Here are the names of the children in 2B:  Jonathan, Mary, Jillian, Casey, Alex, Max, Autumn, Pauline, Thomas, Matthew R., Matthew S., Conor, and Reece. 

Information regarding the "Secret Valentine" was sent home on Monday.  Please make sure that the "Secret Valentine" is sent in by Monday.  It is heart breaking to have to tell a child that they do not have one because their parents did not send one in.  As of today, I have received 11.
