I want my students to not only gain content knowledge of the subjects, but
also learn strategies and skills that can be applied to new situations. My
mission for all my classes is that students learn how to learn. By offering
different approaches to situations, and then discussing their thought
process,my goal is to make them think.
School is not just about academics. The social aspects are a big part of
learning here at WPSD. I want my students to learn how to respect themselves,
each other and staff. By incorporating self-confidence, cooperation and
honorability, students take pride in what they do and what they can
accomplish.
