| Dear World Language Students,
BONJOUR, BUENOS DIAS, ET SALVE!!!
Every September is exciting, because it brings so many new opportunities.
This year I will again be teaching Spanish to students in Montessori and
Kindergarten through Fourth and Fifth grades, along with Latin in Sixth,
Seventh and Eighth grades and French in Seventh and Eighth grades.
My goal for you is that you expand your French and Spanish skills and learn
more about the cultures of the millions of people around the world who speak
those languages.
I'll also help you discover some fascinating facts about our own language
through our study of Latin and the ancient Romans. Their legacy is
remarkable!
I'm really looking forward to exploring our world languages with you.
Here's to a great year!!!

And now, before we start, a few helpful hints and friendly reminders:
1. All French students in 7th and 8th grades will need to bring to
class a three ring binder just for language. In it you will keep:
- your workbook,
- a notebook for class notes, drills, and activities,
- a folder for tests and quizzes,
- several clear, colorless page protectors for vocabulary
sheets and other handouts.
2. You must have your own pen, correcting fluid, and any other items you
need to do your best work.
3. Please check the Homework section of this website for assignments,
projects, and helpful hints. These will be updated regularly.

A word to the wise:
Coming to class fully prepared, eager to learn, and with everything you need
and homework completed, is the key to your success. Have a great year!!!
BONNE CHANCE, BUENA SUERTE ET BONA FORTUNA!
Best wishes,
Madame/Senora/Magistra Zinser :-)
