I grew up in Exton, PA and went to college at Millersville University where I
earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and then my Master's Degree in
School Psychology. I'm PA and Nationally Certified as a School Psychologist. I
love keeping "up to date" with the field of school psychology by attending
workshops, conventions, and conferences. I love sharing anything new I learn!
I'm an avid runner - any distance from a 5K to a 200 mile overnight relay with
teammates! I also love to read and watch Phillies games.
It is my responsibility to act as student advocate -- making sure that
students' voices are heard and understood.
My main mission is to support student learning by helping them recognize and
achieve their highest potential in - and outside - the classroom. I will strive
to meet the needs of all elementary and middle school students. It's important
for me to convey to parents, and teachers, that children's mental health is as
important to academic success as school skills like reading, organization, and
studying. My efforts are always collaborative because a student's
parents/guardians and teachers are key team members who can help their child
meet with success!
