Students in English 12 will research the cause of the Trojan 
war, since The Iliad begins In Medias Res.

Students in English 10 Honors will research information based on 
the time period, the author, and his motivations for writing The 
Crucible.

Students in English 10 Honors will research the time period 
concerned with the
Civil War and how it created a Rise to Realism.

Students in English 10 will research the time period 
concerned with the
Holocaust and then create a memoir that is similar to Elie 
Wiesel's memoir,
"Night."

Students will conduct research based on Levi's experience in 
Auschwitz during the Holocaust and the types of Jewish resistance 
that he witnessed.  
English 12 H: "A Good Day" from Survival in Auschwitz WebQuest

Through this webquest, journalism students will learn the basics 
of 
the history of Journalism in the United States.
Introduction to Journalism WebQuest

This webQuest will help students to research more information 
about 
the 1920's and the setting of the novel, "The Great Gatsby."
English 10: The Great Gatsby WebQuest

Students will be able to identify several different elements of 
existentialism by navigating through a website that discusses
different existentialists and how they have portrayed 
existentialism in their works.  Students will first identify the 
elements, then write an essay based on three elements that are 
most noteworthy.
