How often will my child receive Title I reading instruction?

Third, fourth, and fifth grade students will receive reading instruction from
the Reading Specialist 3-4 days each week. Instruction will be provided both

What can I do to help my child improve his/her reading?

Every child's reading strengths and weaknesses are different. My suggestion
is to encourage every child to reread texts, use word attack strategies when
decoding unfamiliar words, and use strategies like predicting, clarifying,
questioning, making connections, summarizing, and visualizing to improve
comprehension of any type of text.
