Welcome Parents!
How can you support your student's success in biology? I've included some suggestions on this page. Our goal is to help your student become an independent learner. It is important that they develop study and organizational skills.
Honors Biology:
1. Posted on the Hon Bio Resource page will be a document called Roadmap to the Test, this will include the learning objectives for the unit that will be on the test.
2. Our text is rich with resources, on the resources page you will find "Meet Your Text", that introduced student to the resources on the CD and website. There are some excellent animations, sample quizzes, flashcards and other supporting material to help learn the material.
3. STARS is a peer tutoring program. Students can sign up in the library and they will be assigned a peer tutor.
4. Review daily!!!! Come into class with specific questions and ask them!!
5. An independent experiment is required of all Honors science students. Our rubrics and calendar with due dates are posted on under the PJAS pages on this site.
