I am a Special Education teacher at Wissahickon High School for students in
9th grade. I graduated from Elizabethtown College with a B.S. in Psychology
and received my Special Education Certification and M Ed in Special Education
through Penn State University. In addition, I have a certificate in
Children's Literature, also through Penn State, and 15 additional credits
completed through the University of La Verne. I have previously worked at the
Woods School and the Silver Springs-Martin Luther School. This year I will be
teaching English (Direct and Inclusion), Study Skills and Algebra 1B
Inclusion. I co-sponsor the STARS Tutoring program with Ms. Ginny Atlee. In my
spare time, I enjoy watching the Kansas City Chiefs/Penn State football,
Phillies baseball, and Tennessee Lady Vols basketball teams, playing guitar,
listening to music (especially Johnny Cash), and reading. I also have a sweet
Bichon that I adopted last year named Sophia!. I look forward to a wonderful
school year!
