Want to know more?

I am originally from Jim Thorpe, PA. My family relocated to Watkins
Glen, NY, where I graduated from high school in 2004. I attended
Mansfield University of Pennsylvania, where I majored in Music
Education and minored in Human Developmental Psychology. I graduated in
December of 2008 and worked as a substitute teacher before coming to Woodland.
I am currently working on my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from
Edinboro University, and am expecting to graduate in December!

My primary instrument is the flute, but I really enjoy playing
everything! Percussion is becoming my new favorite thing to practice.

I am married! On May 26th in Warren, PA, I married my wonderful husband Eric.
I love and miss my family and friends very much! I have an
adorable nephew, Aidan, who is 5. My parents live in New York State, as
well as my sister and brother-in-law.

I believe there is no place like home for the holidays! I enjoys practicing,
walking, reading, and learning more about technology.

These are a few of my favorite things...
Animal: aardvark
Color: blue
Shoes: Black heels
Game: Set, Angry Birds
Music: Classical, Frank Sinatra, Christmas music
Movie: How the Grinch Stole Christmas
Childhood toy: Bop It!
Thing to do: play music, sing, visit friends and family

Why are we here?

Mrs. Danielson's goals for music at Woodland are as follows:

1. Meet the State and National standards for music education throughout the
year in General Music and band.
2. Enable all students to read and write music, as well as perform
for audiences and peers.
3. To provide students with performance opportunities in an ensemble setting
(band) to increase their musical knowledge and help them to become better team
players and critical thinkers.
4. To give every student the opportunity to excel in music.
5. To learn and have fun!
