Can you say the alphabet and recognize the letters? What sound does
each letter make? Can you name the vowels? What are consonants? Do you
know how to spell your name? What is your address and telephone number?
How many colors do you know? Can you name the days of the week and the
months of the year? Do you know the 4 seasons? How far can you count?
Please:
Keep your room organized.
Learn to tie your shoes.
Use manners.
Smile and laugh.
Be positive.
Never lie, cheat, or steal.
Try your best.
Be an individual.
Do not fear mistakes.
Do not give up; ask for help.
Never say, "I can't." Instead say, "I will try."
Play.
Exercise.
Practice.
Listen.
Follow directions.
Watch educational shows - "The Discovery Channel" or "Animal Planet."
Read a book.
Ride a bike.
Go for a walk.
Help make supper.
Draw a picture for the refrigerator.
Find a solution to every problem; it may not be a perfect one, but it is one!
Do the right thing - even if it means standing alone.
Be kinder than necessary!
Remember letters have sounds. Sounds make words. Words form sentences.
Sentences tell ideas and thoughts. Ideas and thoughts tell stories.
Stories are our lives. Tell a story, or ask somebody to tell you one.
Write a story with pictures or playdough.
