Homework Policy:
Homework assignments will be given for practice, preparation, extension and
creativity as per district policy. Homework is assigned 3-5 times per
week.
Homework will consist of assignments from the textbook, handouts and web
based assignments.
Homework will be randomly checked. A homework ¡§check¡¨ is to show that
homework was completed as assigned. Answers DO NOT have to be correct at
this time, just complete. It is your responsibility to CORRECT any work
and/or answers that are incorrect as we review the assignment. ALL
assignments are corrected. RANDOM assignments will be checked.
Homework must contain the following to receive credit:
Chapter/Section Date
Page # , Problems assigned.
„« The original problem.
„« All work.
„« A complete answer (must be correct after reviewing assignment).
In the event that you are absent, you should call the homework hotline to
find the assignment missed. Any handouts will be available to you upon your
return to class. Please see me after any absence.
DAILY ASSINGMENT:
Each day you are to spend 5-10 minutes reading the notes provided. Paying
specific attention to all vocabulary terms. You are to read the most recent
section and work backwards. Each day, you should be able to review at least
four sections of material. Following this assignment, you should be
reviewing the same material for a minimum of three weeks. This will allow
you to have immediate recollection and comprehension of key terms while
being continually introduced to new material.
