Students are encouraged to visit the music websites (listed on my web
page under Links) and practice /study the sections that reinforce note
values, note recognition, and instruments of the orchestra. The music
curriculum is based on a sequential accumulation of knowledge ; therefore,
accessing these websites further reinforces concepts that are presented in
class.
Students are expected to sing and enjoy listening to music on a daily
basis! Written homework assignments are given occasionally and are sometimes
offered as extra credit assignments and/or projects.
