Fun Day is Monday May 21st. Please make sure your child wears their Warrior Way t-shirt that day. 
Our field trip is June 6th. Please send in permission slips as soon as possible.
We will be walking to the high school on May 29th to see a presentation done by the students in music and movement. Please return permission slips as soon as possible so your child can attend.
I will be contacting everyone who volunteered to come in for class visits shortly. The class is very excited about this project.

Reading - We are working on Theme 10 We Can Do It. Please practice spelling and writing sentences correctly each night. The students will write their words for spelling three times each neatly. Look for cover sheets and tests coming home to be signed. The students will be bringing home new vocabulary words for each week. Please remember to review the vocabulary words and workbook pages sent home each night.
A cover sheet with your child's score will be sent home after each test. Please sign and return this to school the next day. If you have any questions or concerns about any of these tests, please contact me.
Math - We will have math quizzes and tests when announced. Please be sure to review all tests with your child, sign them, and send them back the next school day. Contact me if you have any questions about the tests. We are working on Topic 20 Addition and Subtraction. We will continue to work with addition and subtraction facts as we cover the topics. Remember to go over math papers sent home each night. Also, review addition and subtraction facts to help prepare for fact quizzes given on the i-Pads.
We work on the i-Pad every week. Please go over the fact sheet sent home on conference day to help your students with the errors they are making.
Science and Social Studies - Much of this curriculum is integrated with our reading program. You will periodically see worksheets coming home that show topics we are discussing. We will also be doing several special projects throughout the year. Look for notes sent home or keep an eye on the website to learn more.
