Course Description:
Students will expand their knowledge of both functional and decorative ceramics through traditional and experimental techniques. The course will provide an opportunity for personal exploration and development of sound skills.

Student Objectives:
The students will be able to:
Describe, analyze, interpret and judge clay works
Learn to throw on the wheel
Improve technical skills of hand building
Solve design problems
Original thinking

Incomplete Policy:
Students will not be given an incomplete grade in the course without sound reason and documented evidence as described in the Student Handbook. For a student to receive an incomplete, he or she must be passing and must have completed a significant portion of the course.
