WYOMING AREA LAUNCHES SCHOLARSHIP WEBSITE PLUS NEW SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
The Secondary School Counseling department has worked diligently over the past
year to make the scholarship application process easier for our students to
access and complete. Listed below is the new Wyoming Area Scholarship website.
On this site students can review many of the scholarships offered at Wyoming
Area and students can access the new application for these scholarships. Due
to this new application students only need to complete one application to
apply for several scholarships. This link will also appear on our scholarship
link.

SCHEDULING UPDATE: Scheduling for the upcoming academic school year has been
completed with all students. If a student has not yet completed this process
they need to contact their counselor to do so. Remember, all schedule changes
must go through the Guidance Department and must be completed by July 1st!

"MY COLLEGE QUICKSTART"- The Guidance Department gave presentations to all
sophmore students during their English classes a few weeks ago. During this
presentation, students developed a username and password to gain access to a
computer program through College Board called "My College Quickstart". This
program utilizes each student's PSAT test scores and provides them with a
personalized SAT study plan. We encourage all students to actively utilize
this program as they prepare for their upcoming SAT's. Research has shown
that students who use this program increase their SAT scores an average of
137 points!
