WISH LIST

The following is a list of "intangibles" that I wish for:

I wish that:

each child would be active at least 60 minutes per day.
each child would do strengthening exercises a minimum of 3 days per week.
each child would do flexibility exercises a minimum of 3 days per week.
each child would do some type of aerobic activity a minimum of 20 mins., 3 days per week.
each child would follow a nutritious diet.
each child would see his/her dentist for a regular check up every 6 months.
each child would brush her/his teeth at least twice a day.
each child would use dental floss at least once a day.
each child would get at least 7 hours of sleep a night.
each child would be able to judge themselves against their own potential and not against others.
each child would be able to respect the differences in others.
each child would have the appropriate immunizations at the appropriate times.
each child would have a yearly check-up with their pediatrician or family doctor.
each child would set both short and long term goals for themselves.
each child would never be satisfied with less than her/his best effort.
each child would strive to lead an active, healthy life style.
each child would treat everyone the way they would like to be treated.
each child would value education.
each child, every day, would do at least one thing to benefit another person without expecting anything in return.
