Cell Phone Policy
Cell phones are to be turned in at the beginning of the school
day.
The phone MUST remain in the OFF position. Phones will be kept
in the School Office and returned at dismissal.
Students are never permitted to make or receive a cell phone
call during school hours. The student may NOT send or receive a text message
during the school day. If a parent needs to relay an important message, they
should do so through the school office.
ANY STUDENT WHO DISPLAYS A CELL PHONE DURING SCHOOL HOURS(IN
THE BUILDING OR IN THE SCHOOLYARD) WILL HAVE THEIR PHONE CONFISCATED AND
TURNED INTO THE MAIN OFFICE. NO WARNING WILL BE GIVEN. PARENTS MUST PICK UP
THE PHONE AT THE MAIN OFFICE. NO PHONE WILL BE RETURNED TO THE STUDENT. THE
STUDENT WILL ALSO RECEIVE 5 DEMERITS.
