Student Council Meeting
This is what we have in mind for the school.
1. Spiritual: Thanksgiving baskets for the shut-ins.
2. Academic: Have the students from k-8 read a poem, acrostic,
story, and a prayer that tells what they are thankful
for over the PA. (Two students from each classroom).
Count how many red and green Hershey kisses (.50 cents
per tickets & 3 for $1.00) in the jar for Christmas.
3. Social: Movie night k-5 (Charlie Brown Thanksgiving movie).
Autumn dress down day (red, orange, etc.)
Thanksgiving bake sale (to sponsors the student
councils and to get something for the teachers on
Christmas).
Thanksgiving basket raffles; the cost will be 50 cents
for each ticket and 3 for a $1.00. These will be sold
starting on Nov.9th until Nov.24th. (The drawing will be
on Nov.24th).
A Christmas dance for 6, 7, 8 grade. It will be from 7
to 10 o' clock. (The dance will be on Dec.12th)
Thinking List:
1. Christmas pageant
2. Easter egg hunt
3. Big brother and sister day
4. Competition between each grade in a Religion Academic Bowl.
