INFORMATION NEEDED
Please remember to update your child's information if there is a change in
work status, address or phone number. Please also make sure we have emergency
contact information.
DRESS CODE
The dress code is printed on page 6 of the Student Handbook. Please review it
with your child. Students who are in violation of the dress code will be
asked to change into appropriate clothing.
Of particular concern:
* Skirts, dresses and shorts. When standing erect with hands to their
side clothing mus be at least as long as their fingertips on the
side, in the front and back..
* Having leggins on under the skirt does not make it acceptable
* The waist band of pants must not reveal undergarments
* Tops must not expose cleavage, bare skin, or undergarments
* Clothing that promotes, displays or advertises drugs, alcohol,
tobacco, violence or is sexually
suggestive, contains profanity, vulgarity, or is racially offensive
is NOT appropriate for
school
LOST AND FOUND
Every year we donate several bags of unclaimed clothing. This could be
avoided by labeling your child's clothing with either their name or initials.
This can be done on a tag inside the garment with a permanent marker. Please
take the time to do this - it will allow us to return clothing and other items
to your child, thus saving money.
COMMUNICATION
Communication between home and school is very important. We encourage you to
use the teacher's web page as a way to be informed about upcoming events and
classroom assignments. Teachers can be contacted via email, voice mail or by
scheduling a parent conference. Conferences can be scheduled through the
Guidance Office at ext 5255.
LOCKS
Students must use school issued locks. If a lock is lost the student must pay
$5 for a new lock. For reasons of school safety, all lockers must be secured
with a lock at all times.
