When does the school year begin and end? - 2011-2012

The school year begins for students on Thursday, August 25, and 
ends on Friday, June 8 (contingent upon Snow Days).

When does the late bell ring? - 2011-2012

The first bell rings at 8:00 A.M.  The late bell rings at 8:20 
A.M. If you arrive after this time (8:20 A.M.), you need to
report to the office with your parent to get a tardy slip.

What is an 'A.M. Absence' or a 'P.M. Absence'? - 2011-2012

After 8:20 A.M. a student is marked tardy.  After 10:00 A.M. a 
student is marked as absent for a half day (A.M.). If a student
leaves earlier than 1:00 P.M., then the student is marked as
absent for a half day (P.M.).
