Will we have a snack time?

Yes!  Be prepared because we will have a snack time on the first day of 
school.  I believe that a healthy snack in the middle of the morning will 
energize your brain for better learning.

What should I bring on the first day of school?

Good question!  You should bring your backpack filled with supplies that 
your family has bought for you.  You should also label all of your things 
with your name in a permanent marker.  Don't forget your snack!

What should I put in my water bottle?

The only thing that will be accepted in your water bottle is WATER.  Our 
bodies are made of mostly water and research shows that we need water 
throughout the day to obtain our best learning.  This will help eliminate 
all those trips to the water fountain(bubbler)in the middle of lessons.

Will we have homework?

Absolutely!  Each night you will have reading and as the year gets going you 
will have, spelling and math.  Occasionally, you will have other additional 
homework.
