Incomplete essay
 
A) Create a legend that explains a natural wonder in this world or universe. 
The legend must be fictional and original. Include main characters, a 
villain and a climax that explains the theme of the legend. Use a wide 
variety of newly learned vocabulary, the preterite and imperfect and any 
other necessary grammar needed to express your legend.

B) Héctor Antonio has written to you, an advice columnist, regarding a 
problem he is having with his best friend. In his letter, he states that 
although he and his friend used to do many fun things together, his friend 
spends very little time with him because he has a new group of friends. 
Héctor Antonio concludes his letter to you saying that he does not like the 
new group of friends and needs advice.  Respond to his letter with advice. 
Outline the problems mentioned in the letter, provide comfort and support, 
and conclude your letter with a resolution to their problem.

C) Imagine that you are visiting the Museo Nacional de Arte in Mexico City 
and write a complete, well-drafted paragraph about the Diego Rivera mural on 
the wall.  (If you choose this essay, you will need to move to the desk in 
front of the Diego Rivera painting.)  In your essay, do the following: 
describe the painting, make opinions, make recommendations about the 
painting using newly learned vocabulary, the present indicative and the 
subjunctive mood. Include an introduction and a conclusion.
