•	ALL Bishop England High School rules of conduct, dress, cheating,
plagiarism, forgery, demerits, disrespect, tardiness, etc. apply to the
classroom before, during and after the period. Educate yourself further by
reading your handbook and understanding what's expected of you as a student.
Do not be a victim of misunderstandings.

•	Cover sheets will be distributed for assessment. They are to be used
throughout assessment and will be collected after the quiz, test or exam. Any
writing found on a cover sheet will result in a referral for violation of
academic integrity. If writing is discovered on the cover sheet prior to
assessment, it is the student's responsibility to report it to Mrs. Zaubi.

•	Cell phones will not be tolerated. Possession of a cell phone will result in
confiscation of the phone and a discicplinary referral.

•	Stay on task, stay focused and raise your hand when wanting to speak.
Blurting out will not be tolerated and could result in a referral. Remain
quiet during instruction and be respectful when another classmate is making a
comment or asking a question.

•	Do not procrastinate. If you think you work better under pressure, pretend
the assignment is "due" before the actual due date.

•	Do not look, act or appear to be guilty unless you are. I will address your
academic integrity immediately. Wandering eyes, writing on desks or cover
sheets, whispering, copying, plagiarism, translating devices, etc. will result
in a referral. Make life easier and be an honest and a respectable person.

•	Plagiarism. Avoid any chance of plagiarism through citation. Prevent
misunderstandings by utilizing your MLA handbook for specific instructions.
Plagiarism is cheating and will be addressed seriously.

•	Bishop England Student Handbook offenses in addition to those that have been
listed will result in a lunch or after school detention. Depending on the
severity of the offense, you may be referred.
