Although I am beginning my fourth year teaching at BEHS, I have had a variety
of experiences which have contributed to my experience with youth education
and cultural diversity. Here's just a brief background of where I was before BEHS:
1979 : Lexington, KY (Go Cats!)
1997 : Graduate from Lexington Catholic High School
2000 : Semester Abroad in Granada, Spain and travels throughout Western Europe
2001 : Graduate from College of Charleston, BA Honors Theatre
2002 : English Teacher Miramar (PreK-6th), Puntarenas, Costa Rica and travels
throughout Central America and Cuba
2003 : Spanish/English Medical Interpreter and travel to Puerto Rico
2003 : Spanish Elementary Teacher (K-5th)
2004 : Begin Teaching at Bishop England and travel to Argentina
2005 : Begin Masters in Education at the College of Charleston and travel to Chile

Education in language learning is facilitated by means of multiple experiences
such as: activities, assessment and cultural enlightenment. Students will
conclude academic year with a further understanding and comprehension of the
Spanish language and all the culture that surrounds it.
