How are the A1 grades calculated?

Daily grades and vocabulary quizzes each account for 10 percent 
of your grade. Other quizzes account for 15 percent, and 
tests/compositions account for 65 percent of your grade.

What is the penalty for turning in assignments late?

Usually 10 points will be counted off each day that the 
assignment is late, not to exceed two days late. But each 
semester, you will be given a late pass that can be used to avoid 
the late penalty except over a weekend.
