On Thursday, Mrs. Susan Batson will begin as the assistant in our room.  She is a Clemson graduate and certified teacher who has recently been staying home with her four children.  Susan is ready to re-enter the classroom since her children are older now.  Susan and Glenn who have been married for 23 years have 4 children. Laura is at Clemson, Glenn is at GHS, Emma is at Greenville Middle and Kathryn Ann is at Sterling.  She has taught first, second, third and combination classes all at Laurel Creek Elementary and has most recently been substituting at First Presbyterian pre-school.  She is familiar with Augusta Circle since her children attended ACE and she is excited about joining our classroom.
