My name is Elizabeth Parkhurst Allison and I teach at Center For Knowledge.
I am so excited to be working here with the best faculty, staff, parents,
and students. I am from Sumter, SC. I moved to Columbia, SC in 1998 to
attend The University of South Carolina-- Go GAMECOCKS!! I received my
Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education and have been teaching for 6
years in Richland District 2. I absolutely love teaching 1st grade and I
feel that it is one of the MOST rewarding grade levels to teach. To watch a
child learn to read and write is just an amazing experience. I am married to
Scott Allison and we enjoy going to the Carolina games with friends and
family. :)We have one little boy--William "Beckett" Allison:)--- he is the
absolute joy of our lives! I am truly honored to be here at CFK and know that
we will have a very successful year in first grade.
