What time does my child have lunch?
Lunch time is 12:00 each day. Students have the option to buy or bring their
lunch each day. Students are issued a lunch card and are charged daily when
they buy lunch. Bringing a lunch, is also a choice for students. Parents are
welcome and encouraged to come eat with their child. Students sit at a
special table with their parent when this occurs.

How are birthdays celebrated?
Birthdays are very special and you are invited to come in and share with us
information regarding the day your child was born. Click on the birthday link
on our front page to read more. You are also welcome to send a birthday snack
for snack time. Due to time restraints and clean up, I ask that you send a
snack such as cookies or doughnuts. No cakes or cupcakes please! Birthdays
are also celebrated during Monday Morning Chapel with a birthday blessing.
Parents are notified of this with a letter brought home. We hope you can join
us when this special time occurs for your child. Summer birthdays are
celebrated throughout the year, and these students receive a letter of
blessing intent as well.

How many days of school can my child miss?
It is very important that Primers be in school everyday! Learning builds upon
that which has already been introduced and experienced, and this occurs in
our class everyday! Being in class everyday helps a child feel a sense of
belonging and ownership of their classroom. Please make every attempt to have
your child present each day. If your child is sick however, please keep them
at home until they are well again! We will keep you aware of the number of
days your child has missed. Our goal is that they miss no more than 10 days
per year!

have the time. Contact your classroom teacher or the Parent's Panel Rep.
