FALL BREAK and BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS!
On Friday Ms. Valerie and our other Chaplains will be "blessing
the animals." Please check in the papers which came home on Friday
for additional information regarding this. Remember it will be
cancelled should there be rain. Friday will be a half day and there is
NO SCHOOL on Monday or Tuesday
******************* Apple Orchard Field Trip *******************
We will be visiting the Apple Orchard on Tuesday October 13. We will
plan to leave around 8:30 from school and hope to arrive by 9:30 at the
Orchard. As always we appreciate those parents who will be joining us! On
this trip the students will learn a little about how the orchard works and
then go on a hay ride and out into the orchard to pick apples. The school
will bill your account for $5.00 which will cover the student's cost. If
parents want to join in for the ride or pick apples - the fee is the same for
parents. Remember we will be going "up the mountain" so have your child wear
a sweater or light weight coat.
*************** October Book Fair *****************
Please make sure you return the book fair sheet which came home
this week. On the sheet you are given the chance to designate
how much money your child will be able to spend. We invite
and strongly encourage parents to join us on this day if just for
a little bit - to help select the books you want your child to
buy.
