I am a graduate of Appalachain State University where I received my
degree in Early Childhood. I began my teaching career in Charlotte, N.C.
and attended the Univ. of N.C./Charlotte to receive my Masters in Reading.
I also obtained a Master's in Administration, from UNCC as well. I am
married and we have been blessed with two wonderful children. We relocated to
Greenville, S.C. in 1998 and I began teaching Primer at Christ Church. This
will be my twelfth year in Primer. I am an Orton - Gillingham trained tutor
and received the Christ Church Daniel-Mickel Master Teacher Award in 2004-
2005 .
I consider teaching and learning to be a passion (as well as a hobby)
of mine. In my spare time I enjoy reading and researching new strategies and
growing as a learner! I also love spending time with my family, traveling,
bird watching and flowers.
Being a Primer teacher at Christ Church is a blessing. I continue to
be challenged to grow as an educator, and I embrace the opportunity CCES
provides for me to grow spiritually. How lucky I am!
I look forward to getting to know the parents of my "precious Primers"

parent involvement!
