A native of Holly Hill, I am a graduate of Holly Hill Academy and the
College of Charleston. Deep down, I think I always knew I wanted to teach. I
love being with children and seeing the look on their faces when they have
that "a-ha" moment. The last four years I have taught First Grade, but I am
thrilled to be teaching Kindergarten again. That was always my favorite grade
level and I know we will have a great year. My husband, David, is also a
graduate of HHA. We live in Holly Hill with our 3 year-old daughter, Elli.
I enjoy teaching, spending time with my family, and curling up with a good
book!
My mission for the 2010-2011 is to plant a seed in every child that grows
into a love of learning, love of reading, and most importantly a love of
themselves. Kindergarten is such a vital year in the educational life of your
child and I am honored to be a part of it!
