Welcome to 10th Grade Art Appreciation 2011-2012. Class meets three days
a week, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday during seventh period. Mondays and
Tuesdays are text based while the Wednesday class is studio based.
The class text is Beyond Books History of Painting an interactive art history
site available under LINKS(apexvs learning) on this web page. This is a very
exciting site which provides links to all sorts of museums, galleries
articles and art games related to your studies. Look around the site and
enjoy! You may find it helpful in some of your other classes as you have
access to other programs as well.
It would be a good idea to bookmark this site for yourselves for easy access.
Please sign in with your user name and personal password. All homework
assignment will be available on that site as well as on the classroom board.
Homework needs to be turned in before class to the "In Box".
Sketchbook assignments will be listed with your Beyond Books assignment.
Enjoy your sketchbooks and feel free to use them in other classes as well.
Remember the more you draw the better your skills will become. Sketchbook
drawings will be acessed periodically during the term.
