Hello, I am Miss Michelle, Director of Preschool Learning Center at Orange
Grove Elementary Charter School. I have worked with young children in the
field of Early Childhood Education for many years, and simply love what
I do!
I began working at Orange Grove in the fall of 2001 as an Applied Behavior
Analysis Trainer/Teacher's Assistant. Upon receiving my master's degree I
became Director of Orange Grove's Child Care Center. I received both my
Bachelor of Science in Human Services and Master of Science in Organizational
Management and Leadership from Springfield College.
I am a bit of a health nut, and enjoy doing most of what it takes to stay in
shape and be healthy. Aside from working with young children at Orange Grove,
I also enjoy working with young children in my church and community as well.
Our mission in partnership with home and community is to provide a safe,
developmentally appropriate environment for children to learn. We are
committed to providing a positive, nurturing, secure environment which allows
children the opportunity to grow and develop. We incorporate a variety of
learning styles that facilitate the growth of all children to their optimal
levels of intellectual, social, physical, and emotional potential.
