2009-2010 is my seventh year teaching math, but my sixth year as a teacher at
Woodruff High School. I graduated from Clinton High, then earned my
Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics-Secondary Education from
Presbyterian College. I received my Masters degree in Secondary Education-
Math at Converse College in Spartanburg in 2006. I am married to Thomas
Addison, who is the head golf coach at Presbyterian College. I enjoy
watching movies, taking pretty pictures, listening to music, and watching
golf and Duke basketball.
My overall goal as a teacher is to help my students learn math. This
subject is one in which some people have difficulty, and I do my best to
explain the concepts in a way that is easy to understand. My goal for AP
Statistics students is to prepare them for passing the AP Exam in May. If
you have any trouble with a topic, I am more than willing to help you before
or after school as long as I know ahead of time and can arrange my schedule
accordingly.
