This course further develops the concepts learned in Algebra and Geometry,
provides and in-depth study of functions and trigonometry, and prepares the

projects and technology.

There are many opportunities for assessment in Honors Precalculus:

Major grades (75%)
     1. Unit tests - announced 2 to 3 days in advance
     2. Homework - assigned and checked regularly
     3. Projects and technology - assigned once a quarter
Daily grades (25%)
     1. Quizzes - short and UNannounced
     2. Class participation and attitude
Challenge of the Week - for Bonus Points
**Please note: this is the only 'extra credit' I offer.**

Honors Precalculus is a challenging course and it is important to keep up
and it is important to keep up and study on a daily basis. Your routine
should be: take notes in class, study notes and complete homework in a quiet
place at home, ask questions and make corrections the following day in
class. With this routine, you should not have to 'cram' for hours the night
before a test.
