Terrific Kid Program The Terrific Kid Program is a student recognition program that promotes character development, self-esteem, and perseverance. Students work with their classroom teachers and establish goals to improve behavior, peer relationships, attendance, or
schoolwork. Students then work toward achieving the goals during a specific time period. Woodruff Primary School recognizes Terrific Kids each nine weeks. |

2011-2012 Terrific Kid of the Year Emily Brown, a second grader in Mrs. Richards' class, was chosen as Woodruff Primary School's Terrific Kid of the Year. She was recognized at a luncheon sponsored by the Spartanburg County Kiwanis Club on Thursday, April 12th at First Baptist Church of Spartanburg. Her parents, David and Nikki Brown, along with Dr. Rallie Liston, District Four Superintendant, Mrs. Kim McAbee, WPS Principal, and Mrs. Nicole Sheffield, WPS School Counselor joined Emily at the luncheon. Congratulations, Emily! |
Emily Brown receives Terrific Kid of the Year Award Emily received a plaque from the Kiwanis Club stating she is Woodruff Primary's Terrific Kid of the Year and a "I'm a Terrific Kid" t-shirt. More than 50 students in Spartanburg County were recognized at the luncheon. WPS is proud of you, Emily! |
