| Each student in our classroom will have an opportunity to be "Celebrity of the Week" during the school year. This will allow us to get to know each star in our classroom a little bit better! As student of the week, the student will be asked to bring in a few items to share with classmates. These items should be sent to school on Monday to stay in the classroom for the week. |

|
On Monday, the Celebrity of the Week will complete a "Celebrity Stats" page to share with the class and post on our Celebrity of the Week showcase board. |
|
|
On Tuesday, the Celebrity of the Week will bring in his/her favorite picture book to read to the class, or to have the teacher read to the class. |
|
|
On Wednesday, the Celebrity of the Week will share a "STAR talent" he/she has with the class. Talents can be large or small (drawing a picture, sharing a baseball trophy, singing a song, playing an instrument, doing a cartwheel, etc.) |
|
|
On Thursday, the Celebrity of the Week will share special family photos with the class. These will be showcased on the Celebrity of the Week board on Monday, so by Thursday students will be full of questions about the special photos. |
|
|
On Friday, the Celebrity of the Week will be presented a special friendship poster from his/her classmates. The poster includes a "movie star portrait" of the celebrity, surrounded by special notes from each classmate. |
