This is our hall display where student work will be showcased throughout the year!

Reading Center
This photo shows part of our reading center. Fiction books are sorted by genres and stored on the double-sided brown bookshelf. Non-fiction books are sorted by themes on the white bookshelf. The storage containers hold resources for our units of study for the year.

A Star is Born Birthday Display
Students' names and birthdays are recorded on the stars on this display. When it is a student's birthday, he gets to replace his/her star with a writing about the "gift" he/she brings to our classroomm. The birthday child completes this writing while his/her classmates are making a special birthday book for him/her!

Teacher's Corner
Mrs. Madden's desk is hidden in this corner of the room. In front of her desk is the shelf where all of our textbooks, writer's notebooks, and data binders are stored!

Madden's Movie Theater
This is our television, though it is rarely used, since we view ENN news and videos on our Promethean Board!

Classroom Computers
We have two computers in our classroom which are often used for Accelerated Reader tests. Most of the time, we roll our hall's laptop cart into our classroom and use the laptops for our computer projects!
