This year I have implemented an AR policy in my classroom. Each student is required to test at least twice a week. The first test will be on our weekly reading story, the next must be a book that your child reads independently. Please encourage your child to read throughout the week. They must test on their independent reading by Friday of each week. I have set a goal for each student, if they test on twice a week and pass each quiz they will meet the goal. At the end of each nine weeks I will run a report with all goal percentages and I will take a reading grade on each percentage. Your child may bring a book from home to quiz on, if you need to know if a book is AR approved please contact me. Thanks so much for your involvement.
