Do we have to remember all the dates of events we study?

The only date you will ever be tested on in this class is
July 4, 1776 - Independence Day.

We will use dates as a frame of reference to know when events
took place; however, our studies are more focused on the
significance of events rather than when the event took place.

Will we have a textbook?

Yes, we will have a textbook for this class. They will be issued
the first full week of school. Students are required to bring it
to class everyday. We will use the textbook as a tool. It is only
one way we gather information for our studies. The bulk of the
information students need and will receive will be in the interactive
notebook. For parents, this is not the traditional history class
you went to when you were in school - read chp. 1 and answer questions 1-10.
